Milwaukee.. or italy?
This session is one I've been waiting for since March! 3 months later and I made the 5 hour road trip to photograph Kristen & Billy at Villa Terrace Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The drive was so fun and my first time being in Milwaukee, literally the cutest city ever, my head was turning on every corner admiring the architecture & buildings I was driving by. I literally cannot wait to go back! We got to Milwaukee and our first stop was pizza by the slice. We went to Ian's Pizza & I obviously had to get the famous mac and cheese pizza slice, which was literally the most amazing slice of pizza ever. It also happened to be 3 minutes away from the venue, which surprisingly was tucked away in the most gorgeous neighborhood with stunning houses. It felt like a movie. This venue was so unique and different and felt like you were transported to Italy, quaint when you first walk in but a huge property once you start exploring! Kristen & Billy were such an amazing and kind couple to work with and literally were stunning behind the camera, their tans from their Greece trip helped too ;)
After an hour of zooming around the property in the heat (shout out to them for braving the hot temperatures with me) we explored so many beautiful spots on the property and talked about their upcoming wedding plans while we shot around the building and terrace overlooking Lake Michigan! I think I could see my house from there hehe.. After we finished I had a 2 hour drive into Chicago for 2 sunset sessions in front of the city skyline. Milwaukee & Chicago sessions in one day were pretty much my dream come true and these images are so dreamy.
