Where it started

I grew up always being on the other side of the camera. Picture my dad chasing me and my brother around with his Nikon and posing us by trees together & portraits of me with chapped lips and self made hair cuts. I watched him photograph birds, trains, race cars & a lot of nature. After the passing of my dad all of his camera gear & equipment was sold and I never thought about photography until my late teen years.

Flash forward to 2018 I graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with an associates degree in photography & started booking serious weddings in 2019, right before covid hit.

I love photographing the raw and candid moments between people in all seasons of there lives. You'll find me capturing movement & interactions that evoke natural expressions bringing out your truest self, displayed in a photo.

From the second you inquire with me up until your photos are delivered, I'll be by your side every step of the way! Although I may not be a wedding planner or day of coordinator, as a photographer I'll assist you with more details and planning than you would think! It's part of my job to help ensure that your day (& mine) goes as smoothly as possible, we will be spending the whole day together after all! Consider me your go to gal & day of hype woman. From styling your flat lay, fluffing your dress, hiding you from guests & doing roll call for family photos, I want you to have trust in me that all of your worries & stress will disappear! Photographing your wedding is more to me than just taking photos, it's connecting with you as a couple and guiding your love story through the day hoping to leave an everlasting impression on you, as well as your friends & family.
